Suzie
McGrorty
Suzie
appeared in the CSU Fullerton Honors Program newsletter. It
focused on Suzie, an honor student who literally changed somebody
elses life. December 2000 Suzie donated bone marrow
to a leukemia patient. She allowed about 3 ½ Coke cans
of bone marrow to be taken out of her and be put into another
persons body. Disappointed that she never was allowed
to meet the individual in whom her bone marrow now lives,
she is nevertheless thankful for the monthly updates. Suzie
is in Canada for a year of college on an exchange program.
Suzie has also made the dean's list all 4 of her semester's
at Fullerton. Majoring in Biology, Suzie is hoping to become
a pediatrician and to work with kids.
